Biblical Counseling Training
Whether formal or informal, all of us give counsel. In Scripture the Apostle Paul assures us that as believers we have been equipped for the purpose of “admonishing one another.” Admonish implies that as believers we should be speaking into one another’s lives for the purpose of building one another up as well as helping one another gain freedom from sins which may have us entangled. The Bible Church believes God’s Word is essential to sound counsel. It is our desire that in the Biblical Counseling training class, you will be given sound theological training to equip you to speak wise counsel into the lives of others. It is also an opportunity to learn biblical practices and methodologies of counseling in how to give advice to others. This class is not simply for those who desire to pursue biblical counseling certification. This class will be designed for anyone who wants help in learning how to correctly give advice to others.
This semester, we are having a counseling round table discussion on the 2nd Sundays and a discipleship round table discussion on the 4th Sundays. While the counseling round tables are geared more toward those who are counseling, the discipleship round tables are for anyone who wants to know more about making disciples who make disciples. Bring a dish to share and join the discussion!
