Walking Worthy is divided into 3 sections:
1. Wise Women will be a short discussion covering one question/topic each Wednesday night. This will be led by different women of experience and biblical knowledge in the topic addressed – answering questions that you have emailed to us in the previous weeks. The questions can range from personal godliness to homes, marriages, evangelism, parenting, internet, etc. – any topic of interest to you.
2. Women in the Word will be the bible study discussion portion of the evening with a leader guiding discussion and adding points where they apply to the lesson. Our study this year is “Philippians: How to Have Joy.”
The study of Philippians is a great study to equip the believer to live the Christian life joyfully regardless of people or circumstances. It addresses the subject of contentment and the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord. Philippians challenges us to have the “mind of Christ” and to “consider others more important than ourselves.”
This spring we are offering two levels of depth in our inductive bible study of Philippians.
- LEVEL ONE is a course that will require about 1 hour of study per day.
- LEVEL TWO is for students who are unable to commit to that amount of homework but still wish to study about 15 to 20 minutes per day.
Both levels will cover the same section of Scripture each week, so both levels will meet together in the same discussion group on Wednesday nights. When you register, please specify if you wish to order the 1 hour study ($37) or the 20 minute study ($29) for the Spring Bible Study.
3. Caring Women is the last portion of the evening with the large group breaking into smaller groups for a time of prayer, encouragement, accountability, and/or Scripture memory. This is a time to connect and grow close with a smaller group of women and encourage one another in our Christian growth.
