Sunday Mornings

Sunday mornings are a time for students to worship the Lord through song and through the teaching of God’s Word.
The focus on Sunday mornings is to teach the Bible and its fundamental doctrines so that they may understand it, live it, and be able to give a reason for anyone who asks why. We meet from 9:00 to 10:15am in Room C200/201.

After reading, singing and praying together, we split into junior and senior high classes. Students spend their 7th and 8th grades learning biblical theology. By this we mean that we walk through each book and major section of the Bible with the goal of understanding the general thrust of the Bible's story and its focus on Christ and his work. Students spend their 9th through 12th grades learning systematic theology. By this we mean applying the question, "What does the Bible say about...?" to the most important and fundamental biblical doctrines.

In each class and in all that we do, the ultimate goal is to teach the students to live for God through Christ.
