2026 CoUnseling Conference
Join us for our 3rd Annual Biblical Counseling Conference on November 13-14, 2026. Whether you are counseling yourself, discipling others, or formally counseling, this conference will benefit you! Our topic for the weekend is "Why Does Theology Matter?" In a world constantly changing, this is an important question to ask. Our speakers will be Dr. Ernie Baker, author of Marry Wisely, Marry Well and Biblical Counseling and the Psychologies, and Spencer Harmon, co-author of the Letters to a Romantic Series. The cost will be $30 and will include lunch on Saturday and snacks throughout. Registration is open on Realm and can be found at the link below. Who is this for? - This conference is open to everyone. For this conference, we will teach about why Theology matters. This conference will benefit those who counsel or disciple others regularly.
What is the deadline to register? - The last day to register is Friday, November 6.
Who are the speakers? - Our speakers will be Dr. Ernie Baker and Spencer Harmon.
Who is Dr. Ernie Baker? - Dr. Ernie Baker currently serves with the Masters Seminary with international Biblical Counseling. He received his Master of Divinity from Capital Bible Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary. He serves as a chair for The Master's University's online biblical counseling program. He is the author of several books such as: Marry Wisely, Marry Well and Biblical Counseling and the Psychologies. He is also a Fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and regularly teaches at the annual ACBC Conferences. Ernie and his wife, Rose have six children and over a dozen grandchildren.
Who is Spencer Harmon? - Spencer Harmon is currently serving as Nocatee Campus Pastor at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida. He is the co-author of the Letters to a Romantic: On Dating, Letters to a Romantic: On Engagement, and Letters to a Romantic: The First Years. Spencer is married to Taylor and they have four children.
Can I invite friends? - Absolutely! All are welcome.
What does it cost? - The cost to register is $30.
Will there be food? - Yes! The cost covers a continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout. We also plan to have some gluten-free options. Please make us aware of allergies on your registration.
I don’t attend BCLR. Can I still come? - Absolutely! The conference is open to anyone who believes they would benefit from learning what the Bible says about counseling others.
Will there be childcare? - Yes, we are working to provide childcare on Saturday. Due to the ratios required by our church's Child Protection Policy, childcare will be provided for BCLR Members only.
Will this count towards my ACBC Certification? - Unfortunately, no this is not an ACBC Certification event; however, the topic will be vital to your counseling ministry.
Will this event be recorded? - Yes, we plan to record.
