Affirmations
We affirm the Majesty and Supremacy of God
God is to be desired above all else because He is holy and is transforming us into His image.
We affirm the Authority and Sufficiency of Scripture
The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments alone are the trustworthy, infallible, inerrant Word of God.
We affirm the Sinfulness of Man and the Saving Gospel of Jesus Christ
Mankind is spiritually dead and is therefore unable to respond to the loving, gracious offer of salvation by God. Mankind cannot earn his salvation in any way and is therefore in desperate need of the forgiveness of sin which is provided alone through the sacrificial, atoning death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This undeserved salvation comes through repentance and faith. Christians are privileged to obey Jesus’ command to proclaim this salvation to the ends of the earth, until Christ’s glorious return.
We affirm the Priority of Spiritual Leadership
The local church is to be led by a plurality of godly leaders whose role is to care for the family of God.
